QA/QC Introduction

Quality Controlling:
In order to guarantee the quality of raw materials and the finished products so as to meet applicable standard and customers' requirement, we employ a quality-controlling way that combines self inspection, intermediate complete inspection and general patrol inspection, and the emphasis is on the quality controlling before and during production, so as to minimize the loss and cost.
A. Inspection of raw materials
The Quality Control Department (QCD) works out the Inspection Specifications as well as the Acceptance Standard for various fabrics and accessories, trains IQC (incoming quality checkers), who will fill the Incoming Inspection Report after checking the raw materials to be acceptable, and stick IQC PASS labels on the acceptable materials, and then the warehouse keepers will handle the in-stock processes. For any unacceptable material, IQC will fill a Contact Sheet for Unacceptable Material and return the material to the supplier, but if the production needs urgently, and the material will not influence the product performance and appearance, the material will be adopted only with approval from both the Purchasing Department and the CEO.
B. Inspection of cut piece
After the cutting bed operator cuts pieces, he will check the cut pieces, seams and sizes, and will make correction on any poor cutting as necessary. Any unacceptable cut piece found during the final checking will be returned for reworking immediately.
C. Production workshop:
1) Before making massive products for a customer, a bulk sample will be made, only after the bulk sample is checked to be OK by the QC, will the massive production start.
2) During the massive production, each worker will carry out self-inspection based on the bulk sample and the direction from the team leader, so as to avoid any unacceptable product going into next process.
3) Each team is furnished with an "intermediate inspector" for complete checking of each process.
4) Each workshop is provided with a "general inspector" for checking the semi-finished products and finished products, and the QC will carry out patrol checking over each process or semi-finished product. The "general inspector" and the QC will check randomly 10-20 pieces per lot for each lot or every 2-4 hours, and record that on the "Patrol Check Inspection Report". For any defect found in the patrol checking, e.g. wrong material, inconsistent sizes in the whole lot, same quality problem repeated 5 times, etc., a "Report for Poor Quality" will be prepared, and the responsible unit/team will be traced for rectification.
5) QA carries out inspection from the starting of production through to the finished products from the Packing Department, and will return any poor product for reworking till checked to be acceptable.
6) IQA carries out general pre-shipment inspection on the products.
